In retrospect, when I look at my recent works, I think that the images I have created, at times modern colourful almost cheerful, at times a bit intrusive and aggressive, depict a familiar world where the figures (most of the time girls and women) who take the scene seem to be searching for a moment of separation, reflection or just a place to rest. But I don’t think that this was my intention when I started, and possibly somebody else looking at the works won’t see this, and will see other things.
