I am interested in art that recognizes the constant paradoxes inherent in our daily existence. In my own work, I often use photographic imagery to explore certain dualities, especially relationships between the existential and intimate, clarity and ambiguity, and abstraction and representation. I am invested in exploiting the cameras unique relationship to light and time, also as way to process these elements as simultaneously everyday and extraordinary.
