Artist Profile

Anne Gart

Turning ideas into images is like heartbeat in me: constant. My first forays into art - doodling in someone's passport during long flights to Siberia correspond with my current efforts.

My art is a meditative by-product of asking questions and living within and between cultures. This is why London feeds my imagination: the dialogue of perspectives.

Sometimes I find echoes of my science degree in my series of experiments and in reading about the thought experiments of others: philosophy. I think philosophy has its own colour on the colour wheel of compassion.
