I am a research-based artist utilizing multi-disciplinary approaches that combine art and technology.

Content or themes vary ranging from part realistic, part abstract constructs of interior subjects to open landscapes, all with a view in some way to reference the cumulative effects of global sociopolitical changes.

Working with collaged imagery recycled from the internet, subjects are manipulated to present a heightened sense of interpretation, sometimes depicting the function of real objects versus invented forms creating emotional connections with familiar imagery alongside dystopian perspectives.

My intention in the work is to highlight themes of inequality regarding these subjects and to elevate their cause through manipulated visual concoctions that juxtapose social histories, media trends, and invented imagery. The purpose is to present a heightened sense of interpretation through exaggerated visual optics that weave a mix of realism with surrealist narratives. //
